Approaching from Oakham

Take the Cold Overton road out of Oakham; this is also signposted to the Rutland Memorial Hospital (H). Follow the road for about 3.5 miles until you reach a crossroads at Knossington. Turn left into Knossington, signposted Owston 2 miles. Take the third left turning in the village which is Owston Road, signposted Owston and follow this until you reach the crossroads at the Rural Training Centre, go straight across and turn left into the Training Centre.

Approaching from Leicester

Take the A47 out of Leicester towards Peterborough. Turn left on to the B6047 to Tilton on the Hill. Turn right after 2 miles into Tilton village centre following signs for Oakham, (second left). This road takes you through Halstead. Keep on this road for about 2.25 miles and then take the left turn signposted to Owston. After 1 mile you drive past the Owston village sign, do not turn into the village but take the 3rd turning on the left for the Rural Training Centre, signposted, about ½ a mile past the village itself.

Approaching from Melton Mowbray

Take the A606 out of Melton towards Oakham. Keep on this road for about 4 miles and then turn right following signs for Somerby. Take the second right turn when driving through Somerby, following signs to Owston. As you approach Owston there is a cross roads. Take the right turn for the Rural Training Centre, signposted.
